Programs

Have you and your friends been wanting to get into Dungeons and Dragons, Cult of Cthulu, or any other TTRPGs but no one knew how to DM/GM? Do you want to know the difference between DM and GM? Have you always been curious about what goes on behind the curtains in a TTRPG game? This workshop will give you the confidence to create and tell the stories YOU want and be able to use the systems you're playing with rather than feel limited by them.

Please bring a notebook, an pen or pencil, and lots of creativity!

As this is an indoor event, we are asking participants to wear masks to the event. HEPA air filters will be provided by @Masks4Victoria. If you are sick, please stay home.

Instructor Bio: Ty/Hinox Wesley (pronouns: any/all) is a storyteller, actor, and facilitator currently residing in so-called "Victoria, BC". They have always had a passion for fantasy and storytelling, raised on Lord of the Rings and Star Trek. When they found GMing ten years ago they thought it was the perfect thing to keep their busy mind working. Having playing TTRPGs most of their life, and a professional GM for the past five years, they're happy to share knowledge as much as possible. When not facilitating workshops they can be found preparing for RenFaire, prepping for their other campaigns, or out in nature!
